Our students’ level of enthusiasm was at an all-time high during Keith's visit. He presented his book, Cock-a-Doodle-Moo, which features mythological creatures, interesting biology, and humorous animal mashups. Soon enough, all students (and teachers, too) were inspired to create their own scientific menagerie of animals. This will be one moment we will always remember with hearty chuckles.

Keith DuQuette recently visited my high school children's book design class and gave a wonderful presentation of his work. My easily-bored students were very engaged throughout his presentation.  The next day, they told me they found his work "beautiful"! Keith explains his process very clearly and shares lovely examples from his books to illustrate the steps he follows.  He demonstrates the planning and effort that go into creating a successful children's book, and his work inspired my students to create their own children's books using his process.  He was very open to tailoring his presentation to the needs of my class.  I highly recommend Keith for your high school art program!
